Women of Value

Woman, Fear God and you will become wise

The wise woman builds her house, and the senseless woman throws it down with her own hands. (Proverbs 14: 1)

Today I share my notes on this excellent teaching by Pastor Modestine Castanou at the Leaman Conference.

There is no woman whatever her social condition or family situation who does not want to be wise. All women seek wisdom somewhere. Every woman would like to be a woman of distinction, a woman full of wisdom, a woman of value. Every woman wants to live what God has planned for her.

But many women are full of regret and they say to themselves: "if I knew what I know today, I would have lived my life differently ... if I had grown up in a family where values had been instilled in me, if the father of my children had not abandoned me ... j would have lived another life. "Other women say it's too late.

The good news is thatwith God, it's never too late. It's not over until he says it's over. God wants our life to take another direction. Where the men in your story have closed the door, put a point, God removes that point and puts a comma ... It's not over. No matter how you started, no matter what your past, you can start from scratch. God is watching decision that you take today and your future and not your past.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of science; Fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Proverbs 1: 7)

This verse tells us in other words: fear God and you will manifest wisdom. Wisdom begins somewhere. It begins with the fear of God. Start to fear God and gradually you will become wise!

What is wisdom?

In the Larousse dictionary, wisdom is the quality of someone who shows a right judgment, sure, informed in his decisions and in these actions. It is the quality of someone who discerns supernatural things.

Wisdom is the application of the knowledge of things or situations. To be wise is to make the decision to apply what you know, what you know, the information you have about a situation in order to avoid useless problems, free failures in life.

So an ignorant person can not have wisdom. To have wisdom, one must acquire knowledge. But knowledge is not enough. We must put into practice what we have learned!

A woman who is taught, who knows that the first need of a man is respect but who continues to shout at her husband, to disrespect him, to treat him without any reverence is not wise. She is a senseless woman.

An unmarried woman who wants to marry, who knows that the major need of men is respect and who treats a younger brother who approaches her as a dwarf because of her outward appearance is senseless. She lacks wisdom.

An unmarried sister who knows that her body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and that she must keep herself clean, dress well and choose to expose her body when she dresses is not wise. It will attract a certain category of men who will not necessarily be men of distinction. Many women are surprised to attract light and immature men but often, it is by their lack of wisdom that opens the door to this type of men.

A senseless woman is a woman who has information, who knows what to do, and who does not.

What is the fear of God?

The fear of God is obedience to His word, His precepts, His ordinances. To fear God is not to be afraid of God. It is obeying the Lord, no matter what it costs.

The wise woman fears God. She does not negotiate with the Word of God. She obeys the Lord and chooses to walk on the Word. When God says "love", she loves without thinking. When God says in His Word, "honor," she honors without arguing.

Here is the beginning of wisdom: acquire wisdom, obtain discernment at the price of all that you possess. (Proverbs 4: 7)

In this verse God tells us: do everything to acquire wisdom. Fight, do everything you can to get it.

Why do we have to seek wisdom?

Because wisdom helps to build. If you do not have the wisdom, you will overthrow your house even if you love your husband. The wisdom of will succeed in everything you do. Wisdom will save you time and avoid going around in circles. We need wisdom. We must seek wisdom.

May God help us!
